Perhaps the existence of Kotodama (spirit words) has long been forgotten, but the legacy of guardianship has never been broken. Hidden across Blue Star are generations of protectors who have fought against demons and phantoms—known collectively as the Demon-Slaying Squad.
“Aya of the Moonlit Sleeves” is one of the squad members from the eastern region of Blue Star. Awakening her Blood Dancer gift at the age of twelve, she joined the team and, after six years of rigorous training, fully unlocked her spiritual talent. With it, the combat power of her spirit companion grew tremendously.
The eastern region is largely plains, its cities thriving with towering skyscrapers thanks to technological progress. Yet beneath this veneer of prosperity lie countless sealed otherworldly demons.
At the age of eighteen, Aya officially became a full-fledged member of the Demon-Slaying Squad. Perhaps due to her Blood Dancer gift, her path diverged from that of her senior sisters. Before each battle, she loves to don her carefully chosen JK uniform, her combat style as captivating as it is lethal. The graceful arcs of her katana, combined with her striking presence, leave allies and foes alike spellbound.
Yet Aya never cares how others judge her way of fighting. In her own words:
